I'd just like everyone to know, that putting a picture of a band on a glog, writing the lyrics on the page, and then putting the song on there as well, is nothing special. Anyone could do what you do. Right now, I could go get a picture of Kanye West, upload the song Stronger, and put the lyrics on a glog and people would vote it an un-deserving 5 stars. Basically, it's like this:
Creativity and originality beats being unimaginative and uninspired!
So please, do something that is YOU. Something YOU like. And put some effort into it! Write something poetic, something funny. Draw silly pictures of your friends on paint and then show people how crappy you are at it (like the rest of us) by putting the real picture next to the one you drew. Just please! Do something to let me and the rest of the world know you're not like everyone else! Which, when I look at all of these glogs, seems to be people only interested in music and cliche pictures.
Thanks for reading. Now get out there and make a glog that is awesome and totally self-indulgent!

edit: I think fan glogs are perfectly okay! I make them myself. Most of the time I try to give explinations as to why I like what I like. I guess I'd just like others to do that too? :)

ummm.... what if we like the song that we put up there and were really into music? you wouldn't understand because you most certainly arn't into music as much as others....

I agree with you to an extent but it's very easy just to go on photobucket and get some photos of your celebrity crush and then wait for 5* ratings. Not all song glogs will get 5* ratings. It just depends on whether the glog actually does it justice that counts. But I do like your glogs. Especially James McAvoy glogs. :)

Fan glogs yes, song glogs are boring unless one can truly show what the music inspires ya know? I am truly getting tired of those and the ones who think just posting a picture of the poster of a film counts as a glog.
If really at a stretch for ideas, keep it at a low ratio like 1 song glog for 8 poems/dreams/autobiography/biography/hobbies/turning points in life/expressions and opinions/rants (not just about glogs)/ etc.
